Today, May 18th 2020, Italy gradually goes back to normal life.
After the strict but necessary lockdown, many activities (like cafès, restaurants, shops, haidressers, churches) will reopen today and Italians will be able to travel again within the borders of their own Regions.
But it is the date of June 3rd that will give the opportunity to Italians to travel around Italy and among the European borders. Even European citizens will be able to cross the Italian borders without quarantine.
Travel throughout the Country will be allowed unless different measures will be adopted in specific Countries or territories, although gatherings in public places will still be prohibited.
Lockdown measures could be reintroduced nationally if there is a rise in Covid-19 cases. Anyway, some Italian Regions like Sardinia have just imposed the introduction of health passports and a 14-day quarantine for those entering the region.
